    We have an experimental set-up with Infra Red Diode with optical power of 7W at the tip of the optical fiber at wavelength of 1936 nm. Are this glases are appropriate or you would suggest more appropriate glasses.

      Assuming that this is a continuous wave laser, the minimum OD requirement @ 1936 nm at 7W power is 2.8, worst case. I would recommend the KG5 filter. It provides an OD greater than 5 at this wavelength.
